Hadith 25131
٢٥١٣١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن يحيى بن أبي (حية) (١) عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع عن عبد اللَّه بن أبي الحسين عن عمر بن الخطاب أن ⦗١٦١⦘ رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: "نزل (ملكان، فجلس) (٢) أحدهما عند رأسي والآخر عند رجلي، فقال: الذي عند رجلي (للذي) (٣) عند رأسي: ما به؟ قال: حمى شديدة، قال: عوّذه، قال: فما نفث ولا نفخ، (فقال) (٤): بسم اللَّه أرقيك واللَّه يشفيك، خذها فلتهنئك" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Umar bin Khattab that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Two angels descended, and one of them sat near my head and the other sat near my feet. The angel who was sitting near my feet asked the one sitting near my head, 'What has happened to this man?' He replied, 'He has a severe fever.' The first said, 'Recite a healing prayer (ruqyah) over him.' The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: He did not blow (to perform the ruqyah)... Then he said, 'In the name of Allah, I recite a healing prayer over you, and Allah alone will grant you cure. Take this healing prayer, and may it be blessed for you.'"
