Hadith 25118
٢٥١١٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن الحجاج (عن المنهال) (١) (بن) (٢) عمرو (عن) (٣) عبد اللَّه (بن) (٤) الحارث عن ابن عباس أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: "من دخل على مريض لم تحضر وفاته فقال: أسأل اللَّه العظيم رب العرش العظيم أن يشفيك، سبع مرات (شفي) (٥) " (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever visits a sick person whose time of death has not yet come, and this person (the visitor) says these words seven times: 'I ask the Mighty Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to grant you healing,' then the sick person will be cured."
