Hadith 23681
٢٣٦٨١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا زيد بن حباب عن جرير بن حازم عن عبد الكريم عن مجاهد أن رجلا ورث أصناما من فضة وخنازير وخمرا، فسأل عنها رهطا من أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ فكلهم [أمره أن يكسر (الأصنام) (١) فيجعلهما فضة و] (٢) (كلهم) (٣) نهاه عن الخمر والخنازيز (٤).
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a person inherited silver idols, swine, and wine. He asked a group of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) about this matter. All of them instructed him to break the idols and turn them into silver, and then sell it, and all of them forbade the sale of wine and swine.
