Hadith 20553
٢٠٥٥٣ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن يعلى بن عطاء عن خالد بن (أبي) (١) مسلم عن عبد اللَّه بن عمرو قال: لئن أغزو في البحر غزوة (أحب) (٢) إلي من (أن) (٣) أنفق (قنطارًا) (٤) متقبلا في سبيل اللَّه ﷿ (٥) (٦).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that fighting one battle in the way of Allah is, in my view, better than spending a great deal of wealth in the way of Allah which is accepted.
