ما قالوا في إحداد المرأة على زوجها؟A Woman Mourning Her Husband's Death
Hadith 20434
٢٠٤٣٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا يزيد بن هارون عن التيمي عن أبي (مجلز) (١) قال: قال ابن عمر: المتوفى عنها زوجها تعتد أربعة أشهر وعشرًا، فقال رجل: إن هذا لكثير فقال ابن عمر: قد كن في الجاهلية (يحددن) (٢) أكثر من هذا (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that a woman whose husband passes away will observe a waiting period of four months and ten days. A man said that this is too long. Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that in the days of ignorance, women used to mourn for even longer than this.
