Hadith 20393
٢٠٣٩٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا (وكيع قال: حدثنا) (١) هشام عن أبيه عن عمر أنه تزوج امرأة من بني (مخزوم) (٢) عاقرًا (فطلقها) (٣) ثم قال: ما آتى النساء على لذة، (فلولا) (٤) الولد ما أردتهن (٥).
Hazrat Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) married a barren woman from Banu Makhzum, then he divorced her. Then he (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I do not have intercourse with women for the sake of pleasure; if there were no children, I would not go near women.
