Hadith 20262
٢٠٢٦٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا إسماعيل بن علية عن ابن عون عن ابن سيرين أن رجلًا ادعى متاع البيت، (فجئن) (١) أربع نسوة إلى شريح، فشهدن قلن: (دفعنا إليه) (٢) الصداق، (وقلن) (٣): (جهزها) (٤)، فجهزها، فقضى عليه بالمتاع (٥) وقال: إن عقرها من مالك.
Hazrat Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that a man claimed ownership of household goods. His four wives came to Hazrat Shurayh and testified, saying that they had given him the dowry and told him to buy the goods with it, so he bought the goods. Hazrat Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) ruled against the man regarding the goods and said that the compensation would be from his wealth.
