Hadith 20182
٢٠١٨٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا هشيم عن إسماعيل بن (سالم) (١) عن الشعبي في رجل كن له أربع نسوة، فطلق إحداهن، (ثم تزوج أخرى) (٢) ثم مات ولم يدر أيتهن التي طلق، قال: فقال الشعبي: (للأربع الأول) (٣) ثلاثة أرباع الميراث وللخامسة الربع.
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man had four wives. He divorced one of them and married another woman. Then he passed away, and it was not known which one he had divorced. In this case, three-fourths of the inheritance will be given to the first four wives, and one-fourth will be given to the fifth wife.
