Hadith 19960
١٩٩٦٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا أبو خالد الأحمر عن محمد بن عجلان عن (عوف) (١) ابن أبي (جد) (٢) قال: توفي صديق لي، وترك (زرعًا) (٣) له بقباء، فجاءت امرأته فقالت: سل ابن عمر أخرج فأقوم عليه؟ فأتيت ابن عمر فقال: تخرج بالنهار ولا تبيت بالليل (٤).
Hazrat Awf bin Abi Jameelah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that one of my friends passed away. He had a field in Quba. His wife said to me, "Ask Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) whether I can work in that field?" I went to Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and asked him, so he replied, "She can go out during the day, but she cannot go out at night."
