Hadith 19948
١٩٩٤٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا أبو (الأحوص) (١) عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال: توفي عن نسوة من همذان أزواجهن فأردن أن يجتمعن في بيت امرأة منهن يعتددن فأرسلن إلى ابن مسعود يسألنه قال: تعتد كل امرأة في بيتها (٢).
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the husbands of some women of Hamdan were killed. They intended that one of the women should observe her waiting period (‘iddah) in the house of another. To ask about this matter, they sent someone to Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him). He (may Allah be pleased with him) said that every woman should observe her waiting period in her own house.
