Hadith 19603
١٩٦٠٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا ابن عيينة عن منصور عن (١) إبراهيم عن علقمة (قال) (٢): (آلى) (٣) ابن أنس من امرأته (فلبثت) (٤) ستة أشهر، (فبينما) (٥) هو جالس في المجلس إذ ذكر، فأتى ابن مسعود فقال: أعلمها أنها قد ملكت (أمرها) (٦)، فأتاها (فأخبرها) (٧) فقالت: (فأنا) (٨) أهلُك، وأصدقها رطلًا (٩).
Hazrat Alqamah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that a man from among the children of Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) made an oath of Ilaa against his wife. That woman waited for six months. Once, that man was sitting in a gathering when he remembered the Ilaa. He went to Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about it. He replied, "Inform the woman that she has become the owner of her own affair." The man went to her and informed her. The woman said, "I am still your wife," and the man gave her one ratl as mahr.
