Hadith 19589
١٩٥٨٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا ابن فضيل عن الأعمش عن حبيب قال: (سأل) (١) سعيدًا أمير مكة عن الإيلاء فقال: [كان ابن (٢) عباس يقول إذا مضت أربعة أشهر ملكت أمرها (٣).
Hazrat Habib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the Amir of Makkah asked Hazrat Saeed (may Allah have mercy on him) about Ilaa, so he replied that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that when four months have passed, the woman becomes the owner of her own affair, and Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) also used to say the same.
