Hadith 19026
١٩٠٢٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا ابن إدريس عن (حصين) (١) عن الشعبي في ⦗١٧٠⦘ الرجل يُكره على أمر من أمر (العتاق) (٢) (أو) (٣) الطلاق، قال: إذا (أكرهه) (٤) السلطان جاز، وإذا (أكرهه) (٥) اللصوص لم يجز.
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: If a person is forced to give divorce or to free a slave, what is the ruling? He replied: If the ruler has forced him, it is valid, and if robbers have forced him, it is not valid.
