Hadith 18888
١٨٨٨٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا وكيع عن أبي المعتمر عن قتادة قال: الجنون جنونان، فإن كان لا يفيق لم يجز له طلاق، وإن كان يفيق (فطلق) (١) ⦗١٤٠⦘ في حال (إفاقته) (٢) لزمه ذلك.
Hazrat Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that there are two types of insanity: if there is no recovery from insanity, then divorce is not permissible, and if recovery occurs, then divorce given in the state of recovery is valid.
