Hadith 18834
١٨٨٣٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا وكيع عن سفيان عن جابر عن عطاء عن ابن عباس قال: إذا طلقها ثلاثًا قبل أن يدخل بها لم تحل له حتى تنكح زوجًا غيره، ولو قالها تترى بانت بالأولى (١).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) states that if a man gives his wife three divorces before consummation, she does not become lawful for him until she marries another man. If he gives these three divorces separately, she becomes separated (bainah) from the first divorce itself.
