Hadith 18684
١٨٦٨٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا شبابة بن سوار عن شعبة عن الحكم وحماد في الطلاق السنة قالا: يطلق الرجل امرأته ثم يدعها حتى تنقضي عدتها.
Hazrat Hakam (may Allah have mercy on him) and Hazrat Hammad (may Allah have mercy on him) say that the Sunnah method of divorce is that a man gives divorce to his wife and then leaves her until the waiting period ('iddah) passes.
