Hadith 18666
١٨٦٦٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبد السلام بن حرب عن يزيد الدالاني عن أبي العلاء عن حميد بن عبد الرحمن الحميري قال: بلغ (أبا) (١) موسى أن النبي ﷺ (٢) وجد عليهم، فأتاه فذكر ذلك له فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "يقول أحدكم: قد (تزوجت) (٣)، قد طلقت، وليس كذا عدة المسلمين، طلقوا المرأة في قبل عدتها" (٤).
Hazrat Humaid bin Abdur Rahman Humairi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) received news that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was displeased with the people. Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned this. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: One of you says, "I got married! I divorced!" This is not the way of the Muslims. Divorce women at the beginning of their waiting period (so that it is easier for them to count the waiting period).
