Hadith 1820
١٨٢٠ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن عبد اللَّه بن دينار عن ابن عمر قال: لأن أكون استقبلت من أمري ما استدبرت -يعني: في السواك- أحب إلي من (وصيفين) (١)، قال: وكان ابن عمر لا يأكل (الطعام) (٢) إلا استن، يعني: استاك (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that being engaged in using the miswak is more beloved to me than having two servant slaves. Hazrat Abdullah bin Dinar said that whenever Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) ate food, he would use the miswak.
