الرجل يجنب وليس يقدر على الماءWhat Should a Junub Do if Water is Unavailable?
Hadith 1675
١٦٧٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن ناجية (ابن خفاف) (١) عن عمار قال: أجنبت، وأنا في الإبل، ولم أجد ماء، فتمعكت تمعك الدابة، فأتيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ فأخبرته فقال: "إنما كان يكفيك من ذلك التيمم" (٢).
Hazrat Ammar narrates that once I had gone out to graze the camels when I became junub, and there was no water available. So I began to roll in the dust like an animal. Then I presented myself before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and related the whole matter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that tayammum would have been sufficient for you.
