في ثواب العتقThe reward for freeing a slave
Hadith 13053
١٣٠٥٣ - حدثنا يونس بن محمد عن ليث بن سعد عن يزيد بن عبد اللَّه عن عمر بن علي بن حسين عن سعيد بن مرجانة قال: سمعته يحدث عن أبي هريرة قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "من أعتق [رقبة مؤمنة أعتق] (١) اللَّه بكل عضو (منه) (٢) (عضوا (منه)) (٣) (٤) من النار حتى يعتق فرجه بفرجه" (٥).
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever frees a believing slave, Allah Almighty will free one of his limbs from Hell in exchange for each of the slave’s limbs, even his private part in exchange for the slave’s private part.
