الرجل يحلف أن لا يكلم الرجل حينا كم يكون ذلكIf someone swears not to speak to a person for a certain time, how long is meant?
Hadith 12878
١٢٨٧٨ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم عن عبد الرحمن بن حرملة قال: سمعت سعيد ابن المسيب وسأله رجل فقال: إني حلفت (على امرأتي أن لا تدخل) (١) على أهلها حينًا فقال: الحين ما بين أن يطلع النخل إلى أن يثمر، وما بين أن يثمر إلى أن يطلع، فقال (له) (٢) سعيد: ﴿ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً﴾ [إبراهيم: ١٢٤] إلى قوله: ﴿تُؤْتِي أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا﴾.
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Harmalah narrates that a person asked Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib, "I have taken an oath that I will not speak to my wife for a certain period; what should I do?" He replied, "By 'al-hin' is meant the period from when the dates become visible until they ripen, and the period from when they ripen until they become apparent." Hazrat Saeed then recited from { ضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا کَلِمَۃً } to { تُؤْتِیْٓ اُکُلَھَا کُلَّ حِیْنٍ بِاِذْنِ رَبِّھَا }.
