Hadith 12846
١٢٨٤٦ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن عبد الملك بن أبي سليمان قال: سئل عطاء عن رجل جعل عليه أن يصلي في مسجد إيلياء كذا وكذا ركعة قال: ليصل عدد ذلك في المسجد الحرام، فإنه يجزئ (عنه) (١)، والصلاة في المسجد الحرام أفضل.
Hazrat Abdul Malik bin Abu Sulaiman narrates that Hazrat Ata was asked about a person who has made a vow to perform a certain number of rak'ahs in Bayt al-Maqdis. He replied that if he performs that number of rak'ahs in Masjid al-Haram, it will suffice on his behalf, as performing prayer in Masjid al-Haram is the most virtuous.
