Hadith 12814
١٢٨١٤ - حدثنا ابن نمير قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن الشعبي أنه سئل عن رجل نذر أن يمشي إلى الكعبة، فمشى نصف الطريق وركب نصفه، (قال: فقال عامر: قال) (١) ابن عباس: يركب ما مشى ويمشي ما ركب من قابل، (و) (٢) يهدي بدنة (٣).
Hazrat Sha'bi was asked about a person who made a vow to go to the Ka'bah on foot, but he traveled half the way on foot and half riding. He replied that it is narrated from Hazrat 'Amir that Hazrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: In the coming year, he should ride as much as he walked and walk as much as he rode, and he should offer a camel as a sacrifice (hadi).
