Hadith 12812
١٢٨١٢ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا حميد عن ثابت عن أنس قال: رأى رسول اللَّه ﷺ رجلًا (يهادى) (١) بين ابنيه فقال: "ما هذا؟ " فقالوا: نذر أن يمشي ⦗٣٣٠⦘ إلى بيت اللَّه، فقال: "إن اللَّه لغني عن تعذيب هذا لنفسه" ثم أمره فركب (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man walking unsteadily between his two children. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What is this?" They replied, "He has made a vow to go to the House of Allah on foot." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surely Allah is free of need from this person putting himself in hardship." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him, so he mounted (an animal).
