Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Jurayj states that I asked Hazrat Ata, "In the case of killing a person, is it sufficient to free a believing slave who is not healthy, and from whom he (the owner) is benefiting, if the slave is lame or has a paralyzed limb?" He denied this and preferred a healthy slave.
