في (التشديد) في البكاء على الميتProhibition of weeping over the deceased
Hadith 12496
١٢٤٩٦ - حدثنا ابن نمير ثنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عائشة (أنها) (١) قيل لها: (إن) (٢) ابن عمر يرفع إلى النبي ﷺ: "إن الميت يعذب ببكاء الحي"، (فقالت) (٣): وَهَلَ أبو عبد الرحمن إنما قال: "إن أهل الميت يبكون عليه وإنه ليعذب بجرمه" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that it was said to her that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates in a marfu’ form that the deceased is punished in the grave because of the weeping of the living. She said that Abu Abdur Rahman assumes that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The family of the deceased are weeping over him, and he is being punished because of his own sins.
