Hadith 12062
١٢٠٦٢ - حدثنا عباد بن العوام عن حجاج عن عمير بن سعيد أن عليًّا كبر على يزيد أربعًا قال: اللهم عبدك وابن عبدك نزل بك اليوم [وأنت خير (منزول) (١) به، ⦗١٠٨⦘ اللهم وسع له مدخله واغفر ذنبه فإنا لا نعلم إلا خيرًا] (٢) وأنت أعلم به (٣).
Hazrat Umair bin Saeed narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) led the funeral prayer of Hazrat Yazid and recited four takbeers, then recited this supplication: "O Allah! Your servant and the son of Your servant has come to You today, and You are the best to whom one comes. O Allah, expand his place of entry and forgive his sins, for we know nothing but good about him, and You know him better."
