Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Do not ask the People of the Book about anything, for they cannot guide you when they have already led themselves astray. Either they will tell you something true and you will deny it, or something false and you will believe it."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned the intercession and said: "Your Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will stand as the fourth."
Hadith Referenceالمعجم الكبير للطبراني / باب العين / 9725
Abu al-Za'ra' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Dajjal was mentioned in the presence of Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said: O people! You will split into three groups: one group will follow him; one group will go off to the land of their forefathers, the places where shrubs grow; and one group will take to (the bank of) this Euphrates, and he will fight them and they will fight him, until the believers gather in the western part of Syria. They will send a vanguard towards him, among them a horseman on a reddish or piebald horse, and they will all be killed; nothing of them will return (alive).
The narrator said: And Abu Sadiq narrated to me through Rabi'ah bin Najid from Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) that he said: A reddish horse. Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) (also) said: "And the People of the Book claim that the Messiah (peace be upon him) will descend and kill him" - and I never heard him narrate any report from the People of the Book other than this - "Then Gog and Magog will come out; they will surge like waves across the earth and spread corruption in it." Then Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited: 'And they, from every elevation' [Al-Anbiya: 96] will rush down. "Then Allah will send upon them a creature like this naghafah (the worm that breeds in a camel's nose), which will enter their ears and nostrils, and they will all die, and the earth will be filled with their stench." He said: "Then the earth will cry out to Allah, and Allah will send down water that will cleanse the earth of them (their corpses). Then Allah will send a wind containing intense cold, which will not leave a single believer on the earth without taking him away. Then the Hour will be established upon the worst of people. Then an angel will stand with the Trumpet between the heaven and the earth and blow into it, and no creature of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will remain in the heavens and the earth except that it dies, save whom your Lord wills. Then between the two blasts there will be as long as Allah wills." He said: "There is no creature of the children of Adam except that something of him is in the earth. Then Allah will send water from beneath the Throne, like the semen of men, and from that water their bodies and their flesh will grow just as vegetation grows from the earth." Then Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited: 'It is He who sends the winds, and they stir up clouds' [Al-Rum: 48] "Then We drive it to a dead land and revive the earth thereby after its death; such will be the resurrection." Then an angel will stand with the Trumpet between the heaven and the earth and blow into it, and every soul will rush to its body until it enters it. Then they will all rise, coming to life as one man, and stand before the Lord of the worlds.
Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will manifest Himself to the creation and meet them, and there will be no one among the creation who worshipped anything besides Allah except that that thing will be raised up for him and he will follow it. Then the Jews will be met and asked: Whom did you worship? They will say: Uzayr. It will be said: Would you like this water? They will say: Yes. Then Hell will be shown to them in the form of a mirage. Then Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited: 'And on that Day We will present Hell to the disbelievers' [Al-Kahf: 100]. Then the Christians will be met and asked: Whom did you worship? They will say: The Messiah. It will be said: Would you like this mirage? They will say: Yes. Then Hell will be shown to them too in the form of a mirage, and so it will be with everyone who worshipped anything besides Allah. Then Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited: 'And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned' [Al-Saffat: 24]. Until the turn of the Muslims comes: they will be met and asked: Whom did you worship? They will say: We worshipped Allah, associating nothing with Him. Then they will be rebuked once or twice: Whom did you worship? They will say: Glory be to Allah! When He makes Himself known to us, we will recognise Him. At that moment the Shin (of Allah) will be uncovered, and every believer will fall down in prostration before Allah, while the backs of the hypocrites will remain like a single plank, as though skewers had been run through them. They will say: Our Lord! (And) it will be said (to them): You used to be called to prostration while you were safe and sound (and you would not prostrate). Then the Bridge (Sirat) will be ordered and placed over Hell, and people will pass over it in groups according to their deeds: the first of them like the flash of lightning, then like the passing of the wind, then like the flight of a bird, then like the swiftest of animals."
Then he said: "Then so on, until a man comes running, then a man comes walking, until the last of them is a man dragged along on his belly, and he will say: O my Lord! You have delayed me. Allah will say: It is only your deeds that delayed you. Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will permit intercession, and the first to intercede on the Day of Resurrection will be Jibril (peace be upon him), then Ibrahim (peace be upon him), then Musa (peace be upon him), or he said: Isa (peace be upon him)." Salamah (the narrator) said: "Then your Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will stand as the fourth; no one will intercede after him in what he has interceded for, and this is the Praised Station (al-Maqam al-Mahmud) that Allah has promised him: 'It may be that your Lord will raise you to a praised station' [Al-Isra: 79]. And there is no soul except that it will see a house in Paradise and a house in Hell. It will be said: If only you had done good deeds (this house in Paradise would have been yours), and that is the Day of Regret." He said: "So the people of Hell will see the house that (could have been theirs) in Paradise, and it will be said: If only you had done good deeds. And the people of Paradise will see the house that (could have been theirs) in Hell, and it will be said: Had Allah not been gracious to you (you too would have been in it). Then the angels, the prophets, the martyrs, the righteous and the believers will intercede, and Allah will accept their intercession. Then Allah will say: I am the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. So by His mercy He will bring out of Hell more than all the creation together brought out, until He leaves in it no one in whom there is any good." Then Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited: (O disbelievers!) 'What led you into Saqar?' [Al-Muddaththir: 42] and he closed (four fingers of) his hand - 'They will say: We were not of those who prayed, nor did we feed the poor, and we used to indulge (in falsehood) with those who indulged, and we used to deny the Day of Recompense' [Al-Muddaththir: 44] and he closed four (fingers) - Sufyan said: (that is,) he closed four fingers of his hand, and Abu Nu'aym described it likewise - then Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Do you consider anyone among these to have any good in him? So when Allah wills not to bring anyone out of it, He will change their faces and their colours. Then a man from among the believers will come to intercede (for someone he knows), and it will be said to him: Whoever recognises anyone, let him bring him out. So the man will come and look but will not recognise anyone, and a man (lying in Hell) will say (to him): O so-and-so, I am so-and-so. He will say: I do not know you. Then they (all) will say: 'Our Lord, bring us out of it; if we ever return (to evil), then indeed we will be wrongdoers.' It will be said: 'Remain in it in humiliation and do not speak to Me.' When this is said, (Hell) will be closed over them, and not a single human being of them will come out."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Allah Almighty will punish some people from among the people of faith, then He will bring them out by the intercession of the intercessors." Then he said: "These (others) are those whom the intercession of the intercessors does not benefit."
Hadith Referenceالمعجم الكبير للطبراني / باب العين / 9727
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty will gather the first and the last at the appointed time of a known Day. They will stand for forty years, their gazes fixed upon the sky, awaiting the judgement." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty will descend in canopies of clouds from the Throne to the Footstool (Kursi). Then a caller will call out: O people! Are you not content with your Lord, who created you, provided for you, and commanded you to worship Him and associate nothing with Him, that He should entrust every group to that (deity) which they followed and worshipped in religion? Is that not justice from your Lord? They will say: Certainly. He said: Then let every group go to what they used to worship in the world. He said: So they will set off, and the things they used to worship will be made to appear before them in bodily form. Some of them will go to the sun, some to the moon, and some to idols of stone and things like those they used to worship. For whoever used to worship Isa (peace be upon him), the devil of Isa will be made to appear, and for whoever used to worship Uzayr, the devil of Uzayr will be made to appear, and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Ummah will remain. Then the Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, will appear (in a manner befitting His majesty), come to them and say: What is the matter with you that you do not go as the (other) people have gone? They will say: We have a God whom we have not yet seen. He will say: Would you recognise Him if you saw Him? They will say: Between us and Him there is a sign; when we see it we will recognise it. He will say: What is it? They will say: He will uncover His Shin. At that moment the Shin will be uncovered, and everyone whose back has the suppleness (for prostration) will fall down in prostration, and a people will remain whose backs are like the horns of cattle (stiff); they will want to prostrate but will not be able to, though they used to be called to prostration when they were safe and sound. Then He will say: Raise your heads. They will raise their heads, and He will give them their light according to their deeds. Some of them will be given light like a great mountain, running before him; some will be given less than that; some will be given light like a palm tree in his right hand; some will be given less than that; until there will be a man who is given his light only on the big toe of his foot, which shines at one time and goes out at another; when it shines he steps forward and walks, and when it goes out he stops. And the Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, will be ahead of them until He passes through the Fire, and its trace will be like the edge of a sword, slippery and treacherous. And He will say: Pass over. So they will pass according to their light: some will pass like the blink of an eye, some like lightning, some like a cloud, some like a shooting star, some like the wind, some like a galloping horse, some like a running man, until the one who was given his light only on the big toe of his foot passes, crawling on his face, hands and feet; one foot falls while the other catches, and the Fire touches his sides, and he remains like this until he gets clear. When he gets clear, he will stand by it and say: All praise is for Allah; Allah has given me what He has given no one, in that He saved me from it after I had seen it. Then he will be taken to a pool by the gate of Paradise; he will bathe, and the fragrance and colour of the people of Paradise will return to him. He will look at Paradise through the gap in the gate and say: O my Lord! Admit me into Paradise. Allah Almighty will say to him: Do you ask for Paradise when I have saved you from Hell? He will say: O my Lord! Place a screen between me and it (Hell), so that I do not even hear its sound. So he will enter Paradise. He will see - or there will be raised up for him - a dwelling ahead, as though it were a dream to him, and he will say: O Lord! Give me that dwelling. Allah Almighty will say: Perhaps if I give it to you, you will ask for something else. He will say: No, by Your might! I will not ask for anything besides it; and what dwelling could be better than it? Then he will see - or there will be raised up for him - another dwelling ahead, as though it were a dream, and he will say: Give me that dwelling. Allah, Exalted be His majesty, will say: Perhaps if I give it to you, you will ask for something else. He will say: No, by Your might! I will not ask for anything else; and what dwelling could be better than it? So it will be given to him and he will settle in it, then he will fall silent. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will say: What is the matter with you that you do not ask? He will say: O Lord! I have asked You so much that I feel shy before You, and I have sworn to You so much that I feel shy before You. Allah Almighty will say: Are you not content that I give you the like of the world, from the day I created it until the day I brought it to an end, and ten times as much? He will say: Are You mocking me, when You are the Lord of Might? And the Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, will laugh at what he says." (The narrator said:) I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) laugh whenever he reached this point of this hadith. A man said to him: O Abu Abd al-Rahman! I have heard you narrate this hadith several times, and whenever you reach this point you laugh. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) narrate this hadith several times, and whenever he (peace and blessings be upon him) reached this point he laughed until his (peace and blessings be upon him) molars appeared. He said: The Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, will say: But I am able to do that; ask. He will say: Join me with the (other) people. He will say: Go and join the people. He said: So he will go briskly through Paradise, and when he draws near the people, a palace of pearl will be raised up for him, and he will fall down in prostration. It will be said to him: Raise your head; what is the matter with you? He will say: I saw my Lord - or: my Lord appeared to me. It will be said to him: This is only one of your dwellings. He said: Then he will meet a man and make ready to prostrate to him, and it will be said to him: Stop! What is the matter with you? He will say: I thought you were one of the angels. He will say: I am only one of your treasurers, one of your servants; under me are a thousand stewards, all like me. He said: He will go ahead of him until he opens the palace for him. He said: That palace will be in a hollow pearl; its roofs, doors, locks and keys will all be of that pearl. A green jewel lined with red will meet him; every jewel will lead to another jewel of a colour different from the other; in every jewel there will be couches, wives and maidservants, the lowest of whom will be a wide-eyed houri wearing seventy garments, the marrow of whose shin will be seen through her garments. Her heart will be his mirror and his heart will be her mirror. When he turns away from her for a moment, she will become seventy times more (beautiful) in his eyes than she was before, and when she turns away from him for a moment, he will become seventy times more (handsome) in her eyes than he was before. He will say to her: By Allah! You have increased seventy times in my eyes. And she will say to him: And you, by Allah! You too have increased seventy times in my eyes. It will be said to him: Look out. He said: He will look out, and it will be said to him: Your dominion extends a hundred years' journey, and your sight will reach its farthest end.
The narrator said: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Ka'b! Do you hear what Ibn Umm Abd (Ibn Mas'ud) is telling us about the one of the lowest rank in Paradise? Then (think) what will be the state of the one of the highest rank! Ka'b said: O Commander of the Believers! It is something no eye has seen and no ear has heard. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, made an abode and placed in it what He willed of wives, fruits and drinks, then He sealed it, and none of His creation has seen it, neither Jibril nor any other angel. Then Ka'b recited this verse: "No soul knows what delight of the eyes has been hidden for them as a reward for what they used to do" [Surah Al-Sajdah: 17]. Ka'b said: And besides that (lofty abode) Allah created two other gardens, adorned them as He willed, and showed them to whomever of His creation He willed. Then he said: Whoever's record of deeds is in Illiyyin will settle in that abode which no one has seen, so much so that when a man of the people of Illiyyin goes out and travels through his dominion, there will remain no tent among the tents of Paradise but that the light of his face enters it, and they will rejoice at his fragrance and say: How excellent is this fragrance! This is a man of the people of Illiyyin who has gone out to travel through his dominion. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Woe to you, O Ka'b! These hearts have become very expansive (with your words); now restrain them somewhat. Ka'b said: By the One in whose hand is my soul! On the Day of Resurrection Hell will let out such a roar that there will be no angel brought near and no prophet sent but that he falls on his knees, so much so that even Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah (peace be upon him), will say: O Lord! Myself, myself! Even if you had the deeds of seventy prophets along with your own deeds, you would think that you would not be saved."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People will stand before the Lord of the worlds for forty years, their gazes fixed, awaiting the judgement, until the sweat swallows them up from the severity of the distress. Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will descend, the nations will kneel, and He will call out: O people! Are you not content with your Lord, who created you and commanded you to worship Him, then you turned away from Him and were ungrateful for His blessing, that He should leave you with those whom you followed, so that every person follows the one he used to follow? A caller will call out: Whoever used to follow something, let him stay with it." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "So whoever followed a stone, a piece of wood or an animal will set off towards it." Then (the narrator) related the rest like the hadith of Zayd bin Abi Unaysah.
