Question:
A woman wears Western clothing; if she does not stop wearing this clothing, is it necessary to give her a divorce or not?
Answer:
If Western clothing is semi-nude, fashionable, tight, transparent, or unlawful (which reveals the body's contours, exposes the 'awrah, or causes temptation in front of non-mahrams), then it is not appropriate for a practicing Muslim to continue marriage with such a woman; otherwise, he will be considered a deviant (one who neglects the protection of his wife).
❀ Sayyidina Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"Three types of people will not enter Paradise, and Allah will not look at them with mercy: a disobedient to parents, a woman who resembles men, and a deviant."

Therefore, the husband should advise his wife, counsel her; if she understands and abandons the clothing, that is correct; otherwise, he should give her a divorce. Continuing the marriage is a sin and an act of deviance.
