Some objectors say that the hadith states:
Reference: ( Sahih al-Bukhari:6867 )
Translation: The sin of the killings that will occur until the Day of Judgment will also be attributed to Adam's first son because he was the first to kill. Whereas in the Holy Quran it is stated:
Reference: ( Al-Isra:15 )
Translation: No soul shall bear the burden of another soul. Also, this hadith seems to contradict the attribute of justice of Allah Almighty.First Point
There is absolutely no contradiction between the authentic hadith and the Holy Quran; rather, such a statement is also present in the Holy Quran.
Thus, the command of the Almighty is:
Reference: ( Al-Ankabut:12,13 )
Translation: And those who disbelieve say to the believers, "Follow our way, and we will bear your sins." But they will not bear anything of their sins. Indeed, they are liars. And they will surely bear their own burdens and other burdens along with their own, and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to invent.
At another place, it is stated:
Reference: ( An-Nahl:25 )
Translation: O Prophet (peace be upon him)! Let them sell (themselves), they will bear the full burden of their deeds on the Day of Resurrection, and they will also bear the burdens of those whom they mislead without knowledge. Listen! How evil is the burden they bear.
In the light of these verses, it becomes clear that the leaders of the misguided will be given double punishment: one for their own misguidance and the other for leading others astray.
Second Point
The hadith also clarifies that the continuous sin of the son who killed Adam (peace be upon him) is not without reason or unjust, but because he was the first to commit murder.
Therefore, scholars, keeping the Quran and Hadith in view, have established the principle that any evil act invented by someone will later become a cause for those who commit it, and thus they will be deserving of sin.
Third Point
Here it is also important to note that this principle is not limited only to sin but is similarly applicable in matters of virtue. Accordingly, the hadith states:
Reference: ( Sahih Muslim:1893 )
Translation: Whoever guides someone to do good will have a reward like that of the one who does it.
In another hadith:
Reference: ( Sahih Muslim:1017 )
Translation: Whoever introduces a good practice in Islam will have a reward like that of those who follow it, without their rewards being diminished in any way. And whoever introduces a bad practice in Islam will bear the burden of it and the burden of those who follow it, without their burdens being diminished in any way.
From these hadiths, it is clear that this principle applies not only to sin but also to good deeds.
Fourth Point
Regarding good and evil, it is not injustice but rather true justice to consider the one who first encourages others as a partner in the reward or sin.
Reason also says that if a person leads others astray and keeps pushing them into the mire of sins, and those who get trapped curse him for his whispers and encouragement that led them to that sin, then if no warning is given to him, the result will be that he himself does not commit the sin, but there is no harm in causing others to commit sin!
The same applies to good deeds as well. If a person helps someone in a good deed, guides them, or draws their attention to it, but does not receive any reward, then those who draw attention will eventually cease to exist.
Furthermore, even in this world, a person who participates in a sin or encourages others to commit sin is considered a criminal. Similarly, those who cooperate in good deeds are also appreciated in this world. For example, catching a criminal is the job of the police, but a person who helps in reaching the criminal is rewarded and honored.
All these facts indicate that the principle regarding good and evil is based on justice and there is no aspect of oppression or injustice in it.
From this explanation, it is clear that the mentioned hadith is not against the Holy Quran.
