Men will be given ḥūr al-ʿīn in Paradise — but what about women? Will they also receive marital blessings?
Allah Almighty, describing the blessings of Paradise for its dwellers, says:
“…And there will be for you therein whatever your souls desire, and whatever you call for will be yours — a hospitality from the Forgiving, the Merciful.”
(Sūrah Fuṣṣilat 31–32)
And in another verse:
“…And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes — and you will abide therein forever.”
(Sūrah al-Zukhruf 71)
These verses clearly show that in Paradise, every believer will be given all that their heart desires and all that pleases their eyes.
Marriage is a natural human desire present in both men and women. Thus, in Paradise, women will also be granted this blessing in full, just as men are.
If a woman was married in the world, Allah will unite her with her husband in Paradise, as mentioned in the Qur’ān:
“Our Lord! Admit them to Gardens of Eternity which You have promised them, along with those righteous among their forefathers, their spouses, and their descendants. Indeed, You are the All-Mighty, All-Wise.”
(Sūrah Ghāfir 8)
If a woman never married in the world, Allah will create for her in Paradise a husband who will be the delight of her eyes and the perfect fulfillment of her wishes.
