Question:
What is the ruling on a woman eating together with her husband?
Answer:
It is completely permissible, rather better. It is also the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
❀ Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates:
"I would drink a beverage during my menstruation, then present the vessel to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He would drink from the same place where I had drunk, I would tear the meat off the bone with my teeth, then present it to the Prophet (peace be upon him). He would place his mouth at the same spot where I had placed mine (then he would take the meat off)."

It has been established that eating and drinking together with one's wife is permissible.
❀ Sayyidina Abdullah bin Sa'ad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates:
سألت النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم عن مؤاكلة الحائض؟ فقال: واكلها
"I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about eating and drinking with a menstruating (wife), and he said: You may eat and drink together with her."

This hadith has been classified as Hasan Gharib by Imam Tirmidhi (may Allah have mercy on him) and as Sahih by Imam Ibn Khuzaymah (may Allah have mercy on him)
