Question:
Can a woman wear tight and white clothing?
Answer:
It is forbidden for a woman to wear tight clothing that reveals her body shape when she is in the presence of non-mahram men, in public places like streets or markets. Such clothing is akin to nudity and can lead to temptation and immorality. Wearing this type of attire can cause major fitnah (seduction and misguidance).
If in a particular region white clothing is associated with men and is seen as their exclusive symbol, then it would be prohibited for women to wear white garments in that context due to the resemblance to men. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has cursed women who imitate men in their appearance and behavior. However, if white clothing is not specific to men in a given region, then there is no harm in women wearing white attire.
