It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "The one who gives the Adhan will have a longer neck than all other people on the Day of Resurrection."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman bin Abi Sa'sa'ah narrates that Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "I see that you like goats and the wilderness, so when you are with your goats or in the wilderness and you call the Adhan for prayer, then raise your voice in the Adhan, because the jinn, humans, and other beings who hear the Mu'adhin's voice until the last part will bear witness for him on the Day of Resurrection." Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I heard this from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah and His angels send mercy upon the first row. And the Mu'adhin will be forgiven because of his loud voice. And whoever hears his voice in dryness or wetness will testify for him, and there is a reward for him like the reward of the one who prayed (after hearing the Adhan)."
