❖ The Virtue of Salah: According to Qur’an and Sunnah


Salah is the foundational pillar of Islam, and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized its importance through numerous authentic narrations. The following Hadiths highlight the virtues of Salah in terms of forgiveness of sins, elevation of ranks, entrance into Paradise, and much more.


❖ Forgiveness of Sins Through Salah


➊ The Five Daily Prayers Are an Expiation for Sins
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), the Prophet ﷺ said:
“The five daily prayers expiate the sins committed between them, and so does Jumu‘ah to the next Jumu‘ah — as long as major sins are avoided.”
[Muslim: 233]

Every Muslim must take great care in performing the five daily prayers, ensure they are offered with sincerity and devotion, and recognize Salah as the means to eternal success in both this life and the Hereafter.
