Chapter: The Bull’s Attack
Narration:
Translation of the Narration:
‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin al-‘As رضي الله عنهما narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying,
“Whoever is killed while defending his wealth is a martyr.”
[Reported by Bukhari: 2480, Muslim: 141]
❷ Being unjustly killed or killed while innocent is also a cause for martyrdom.
❸ Fighting, defending, and even dying for the sake of one’s rightful property and rights is permissible and encouraged.
❹ Whoever unjustly kills someone and spills blood without right, that very blood becomes a source of disgrace for the killer and a path to Hellfire.
Meanwhile, the spilled blood becomes a means of expiation and entrance to Paradise for the victim.
❺ In today’s times, many innocent Muslims are being unjustly killed. All such victims fall under the scope of this Hadith and are martyrs.
May Allah grant them the highest station in Jannat al-Firdaus.
