This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Ibn Amr bin Al-As رضي الله عنهما narrates that a man came to the presence of the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and said: O Messenger of Allah! Please assign me something to recite. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
اقرأ ثلاثا من ذوات حم
"Recite the three Surahs that begin with 'Ha Meem'."
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said this as it is. The man said: O Messenger of Allah! Please recite a comprehensive Surah for me. Then the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم recited Surah "إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ". When he finished reciting it, the man said: By the One Who sent you with the truth! I will never add anything to it. Then the man went back, and the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أفلح الرويجل مرتين
"This man has succeeded," the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said twice.
① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to us and said:
إن الله تعالى جزأ القرآن ثلاثة أجزاء، فجعل قل هو الله أحد جزءا من أجزاء القرآن
"Allah has divided the Qur'an into three parts, and Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad is considered one part of the Qur'an."

② Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to us and said:
أقرأ عليكم ثلث القرآن
"I recite to you one-third of the Qur'an." Then he (peace be upon him) recited up to the end of the Surah قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ.

③ Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
من قرأ قل هو الله أحد كل يوم مائتي مرة محيت عنه ذنوب خمسين سنة إلا أن يكون عليه دين
"Whoever recites Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad two hundred times daily, except for debt, fifty years of his sins will be forgiven."
And he said:
من أراد أن ينام على فراشه فنام على يمينه ثم قرأ: قل هو الله أحد مائة مرة، قال له الرب عز وجل يوم القيامة: يا عبدي! ادخل على يمينك الجنة
"Whoever intends to sleep on his bed and lies down on his right side and recites Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad one hundred times, then on the Day of Resurrection, the Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, will say to him: Enter Paradise from your right side."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Kitab Fada'il al-Qur'an 2898. In the chain is Muhammad bin Marzuq who is prone to error. See Al-Taqreeb 205/2. Also, in its chain, Hatim bin Maymun the narrator is weak. Sheikh Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) declared it weak. See Da'if al-Jami' 5795.
④ Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man said: O Messenger of Allah! I love this Surah Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
إن حبك إياها أدخلك الجنة
"Your love for it will take you to Paradise."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Aamir (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
ألم تر آيات أنزلت الليلة لم ير مثلهن قط : قل أعوذ برب الفلق ، وقل أعوذ برب الناس
"Have you not seen the verses revealed on this night, the likes of which have never been seen before? They are قل أعوذ برب الفلق and قل أعوذ برب الناس."

② Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Khubaib Ansari (RA) narrates, we came to the mosque on a rainy and dark night and waited for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) to come and lead us in prayer. When he came, he said:
قل "Say."
I asked: What should I say? He said:
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
"Recite قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ and the two Mu'awwidhatayn morning and evening; they will suffice you from everything."

، والمعوذتين حين تمسي وحين تصبح ثلاثا تكفيك من كل شيء
