Sayyiduna Abu Imamah رضي الله عنه said that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said:
ليس شيء أحب إلى الله من قطرتين وأثرين ، قطرة من دموع من خشية الله ، وقطرة دم تهراق فى سبيل الله .
"Allah Almighty does not love anything in the world more than two drops and two signs: one is a drop of tear shed out of fear of Allah, and the other is a drop of blood shed in the battlefield of Jihad."
