Sayyiduna Baridah رضي الله عنه said that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said:
حرمة نساء المجاهدين على القاعدين، كحرمة أمهاتهم ، وما من رجل من القاعدين يخلف رجلا من المجاهدين فى أهله، فيخونه فيهم ، إلا وقف له يوم القيامة، فيأخذ من عمله ما شاء ، فما ظنكم .
"The honor and sanctity of the wives of the Mujahideen for the people is like the sanctity of their mothers, and if anyone commits treachery against the family of a Mujahid, then on the Day of Judgment, this Mujahid will stand in the way of that treacherous person, and he will have the authority to take as many of his good deeds as he wishes. So what do you think?"
