This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Abu Hamza Abdul Khaliq Siddiqi's book Sahih Fazail-e-Amaal.
The following two verses have great virtue mentioned in the noble hadiths. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah were in a treasure beneath the Throne and were granted to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the night of Mi'raj.

It is also mentioned in the hadiths that when this prayer is made, Allah Almighty accepts this supplication:A Great Supplication:
﴿سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ﴾
"O our Lord! We have heard and we have obeyed. O our Lord! We seek Your forgiveness, and to You is the return."

﴿رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ﴾
"O our Lord! Do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. O our Lord! Do not place upon us a burden like that which You placed upon those before us. O our Lord! Do not burden us with that which we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."
