This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Abu Hamza Abdul Khaliq Siddiqi's book Sahih Fazail-e-Amaal.
وعن أبى سعيد الخدري رضى الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال في: قل هو الله أحد: والذي نفسي بيده ، إنها لتعدل ثلث القرآن .
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said about قل هو الله أحد: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul! Indeed, this (Surah Ikhlas) is equal to one-third of the Quran."
وفي رواية أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال لأصحابه: أيعجز أحدكم أن يقرأ بثلث القرآن فى ليلة فشق ذلك عليهم ، وقالوا: أينا يطيق ذلك يا رسول الله فقال: قل هو الله أحد، الله الصمد ثلث القرآن .
In another narration, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to his companions: "Is any one of you unable to recite one-third of the Quran in one night?" The companions found this difficult and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Who among us has that strength?" Then he said: ” قل هو الله أحد، الله الصمد “ (until the end) is one-third of the Quran.

وعنه أن رجلا سمع رجلا يقرأ: قل هو الله أحد يرددها فلما أصبح جاء إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فذكر ذلك له وكان الرجل يتقالها فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : والذي نفسي بيده، إنها لتعدل ثلث القرآن .
From the same narrator, it is reported that a man was heard repeatedly reciting قل هو الله احد. When morning came, he went to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and mentioned that man to him. He considered this act insignificant, but the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, indeed this Surah is equal to one-third of the Quran."

وعن أبى هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال في: قل هو الله أحد إنها تعدل ثلث القرآن .
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said about قل هو الله أحد: "It is equal to one-third of the Quran."

وعن أنس رضي الله عنه أن رجلا قال: يا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إني أحب هذه السورة: قل هو الله أحد ، قال: إن حبها أدخلك الجنة .
Narrated by Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), a man said, "O Messenger of Allah! I like this Surah, قل هو الله احد." He said: "Its love will take you to Paradise."

وعن عقبة بن عامر رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ألم تر آيات أنزلت هذه الليلة لم ير مثلهن قط ؟ قل أعوذ برب الفلق ، وقل أعوذ برب الناس .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you not know that some verses were revealed that night, the likes of which had never been seen before, (they are) قل أعوذ برب الفلق and قل أعوذ برب الناس."
