This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, which has been translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Abu Humaid Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, he said: O Messenger of Allah, how should we send blessings upon you? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
قولوا : اللهم صل على محمد وعلى آل محمد وعلى أزواجه وذريته كما صليت على إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد ، وبارك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد
“Say: O Allah! Send mercy upon Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him), upon your wives and upon his offspring, just as You sent mercy upon the family of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. And send blessings upon Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him), just as You sent blessings upon the family of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.”

② Sayyiduna Ka’b bin ‘Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to us and we said: O Messenger of Allah! We have learned how to greet you with peace, now how should we send blessings upon you? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Say like this:
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد ، وبارك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد
“O Allah! Send mercy upon Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his family, just as You sent mercy upon the family of Ibrahim (peace be upon him), indeed You are...”

③ Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
من صلى على واحدة صلى الله عليه عشرا
“Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send ten mercies upon him.”

④ Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
إن أولى الناس بي يوم القيامة أكثرهم على صلاة
“Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, among all people, the one closest to me will be the one who sent the most blessings upon me.”

⑤ Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
إن من أفضل أيامكم يوم الجمعة فأكثروا على من الصلاة فيه فإن صلاتكم معروضة علي
“Among your days, Friday is the best day. So on that day, send abundant blessings upon me, for your blessings are presented to me.”
The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said: O Messenger of Allah! How are our blessings presented to you while you have passed away? (Or the narrator said: You have decayed?) The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
إن الله حرم على الأرض أجساد الأنبياء
“Allah has forbidden the bodies of the Prophets (peace be upon them) to the earth.”

⑥ Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
رغم أنف رجل ذكرت عنده فلم يصل علي
“May the nose of the person be dust-covered who hears my mention and does not send blessings upon me.”

⑦ Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
البخيل من ذكرت عنده فلم يصل علي
“The person is stingy who hears my mention and does not send blessings upon me.”

① Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) raised his hands for dua, he would wipe them over his face before lowering them.
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Supplications 3386, the narration is weak, its chain includes Hammad bin Isa who is weak in hadith.
② Saib bin Yazid narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made dua, he would raise his hands and (after the dua) wipe them over his face.

① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reports that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
إذا أوى أحدكم إلى فراشه فلينفض فراشه بداخلة إزاره فإنه لا يدري ما خلفه عليه ثم يقول: باسمك ربي وضعت جنبي ، وبك أرفعه ، إن أمسكت نفسي فارحمها ، وإن أرسلتها فاحفظها بما تحفظ به عبادك الصالحين
"When any one of you goes to bed, let him brush his bed with the inside of his waist-wrapper, for he does not know what has come upon it after him. Then let him say: O my Lord! I lie down on my side by Your blessed name, and with Your blessed name I will rise. If You take my soul, then have mercy on it, and if You return it, then protect it as You protect Your righteous servants."
