The virtue of loving the Ansar, the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, in the light of authentic Ahadith

This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Abu Hamza Abdul Khaliq Siddiqi's book Sahi Fazail-e-Amaal.

The Virtue of Loving the Ansar Companions, May Allah Be Pleased with Them

Especially, loving the Ansar, the noble companions, may Allah be pleased with them, is a sign and indication of faith, and harboring hatred towards them is a sign of hypocrisy. The honorable saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, is:
آية المنافق بغض الأنصار، وآية المؤمن حب الأنصار .
"A sign of a hypocrite is that he harbors hatred towards the Ansar (companions), and a sign of a believer is that he loves the Ansar (companions)."
Reference: Sahih Muslim, Book of Faith, Hadith: 235.

Indeed, love for the Ansar, may Allah be pleased with them, is true faith. The honorable saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is:
لا يبغض الأنصار رجل يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر .
"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day can never harbor hatred towards the Ansar."
Reference: Sahih Muslim, Book of Faith, Hadith: 238.

Whoever loves the Ansar, the companions, may Allah be pleased with them, Allah loves him. Accordingly, the honorable saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, is:
من أحب الأنصار أحبه الله، ومن أبغض الأنصار أبغضه الله .
"Whoever loves the Ansar, Allah loves him. And whoever harbors hatred towards the Ansar, Allah harbors hatred towards him."
Reference: Musnad Ahmad: 527/2.
Sheikh Shoaib has declared it "Sahih Laghirah".
