فضل الولاء للٰہ سبحانہٗ و تعالٰی
For the friends of Allah, there are glad tidings both in this world and the Hereafter; they will have no fear or grief in the Hereafter.
❀ [اَلَاۤ اِنَّ اَوۡلِیَآءَ اللّٰہِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَ لَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ]،[الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ کَانُوۡا یَتَّقُوۡنَ]،[ لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ؕ لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ لِکَلِمٰتِ اللّٰہِ ؕ ذٰلِکَ ہُوَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِیۡمُ]
Listen! The friends of Allah who believe in Allah and adopt piety, there is no fear for them nor will they grieve. For them, there are glad tidings in the life of this world and the Hereafter (both places). (Remember) Allah’s words (i.e., promises) do not change. This is a great success.

Those who love Allah, Allah also loves them.
Living a life in the love of Allah is a special grace and favor from Allah.
❀ [یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مَنۡ یَّرۡتَدَّ مِنۡکُمۡ عَنۡ دِیۡنِہٖ فَسَوۡفَ یَاۡتِی اللّٰہُ بِقَوۡمٍ یُّحِبُّہُمۡ وَ یُحِبُّوۡنَہٗۤ ۙ اَذِلَّۃٍ عَلَی الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ اَعِزَّۃٍ عَلَی الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ ۫ یُجَاہِدُوۡنَ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَ لَا یَخَافُوۡنَ لَوۡمَۃَ لَآئِمٍ ؕ ذٰلِکَ فَضۡلُ اللّٰہِ یُؤۡتِیۡہِ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیۡمٌ]
O people who have believed! (Remember) if any of you turn away from your religion after having believed, Allah will bring forth [in their place] a people He loves and who love Him, who are kind to the believers and stern against the disbelievers, who strive in the way of Allah and do not fear the blame of any blamer. And that is the favor of Allah; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

❀ [عن عبادة بن الصامت، أن نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: من أحب لقاء الله أحب الله لقاءه، ومن كره لقاء الله كره الله لقاءہ]
Sayyiduna Ubada bin As-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and whoever dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him.

Loving for the sake of Allah's pleasure is the most beloved deed to Allah.
❀ [عن أبي ذر، قال: خرج إلينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: أتدرون أي الأعمال أحب إلى الله؟ قال قائل: الصلاة والزكاة، وقال قائل: الجهاد، قال: إن أحب الأعمال إلى الله الحب في الله، والبغض في الله]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came to us and said: Do you know which deed is most beloved to Allah? Someone replied, Prayer and Zakat. Someone else said, Jihad. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: The most beloved deed to Allah is to love for the sake of Allah and to be angry for the sake of Allah.

The faces of those who love for the sake of Allah will be so radiant on the Day of Resurrection that even the Prophets and Martyrs will praise their ranks.
❀ [عن عمر بن الخطاب، قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن من عباد الله لأناسا ما هم بأنبياء، ولا شهداء يغبطهم الأنبياء، والشهداء يوم القيامة بمكانهم من الله تعالى، قالوا: يا رسول الله، تخبرنا من هم؟، قال: هم قوم تحابوا بروح الله على غير أرحام بينهم، ولا أموال يتعاطونها، فوالله إن وجوههم لنور، وإنهم على نور، لا يخافون إذا خاف الناس ولا يحزنون إذا حزن الناس، وقرأ هذه الآية: أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ]
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the servants of Allah, there are some people who will be neither Prophets nor martyrs, but on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will grant them such ranks that even the Prophets and martyrs will look upon with admiration. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Who will those people be? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: They will be those who love each other purely for the sake of Allah's mercy, without any kinship or financial dealings. By Allah! Their faces will be radiant, and they will be on pulpits of light. When people are fearful, they will have no fear. When people are afflicted with grief, they will be free from grief. After this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "Behold! The friends of Allah shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve."

Those who love for the sake of Allah will be under the shade of Allah’s Throne on the Day of Resurrection.
❀ [عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: سبعة يظلهم الله في ظله يوم لا ظل إلا ظله، الإمام العادل، وشاب نشأ في عبادة ربه، ورجل قلبه معلق في المساجد، ورجلان تحابا في الله اجتمعا عليه وتفرقا عليه]
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: There will be seven types of people whom Allah will grant shade on that Day when there will be no shade except His shade. The first is a just ruler, the second is a young person who grows up worshipping his Lord, the third is a person whose heart is always attached to the mosque, the fourth is two people who love each other for the sake of Allah, and their meeting and parting is based on this (للهى) (love for the sake of Allah).

Friendship with Allah is better than the world and everything in it.
❀ [عن أبو هريرة، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم, وهو يقول: الدنيا ملعونة ملعون, ما فيها إلا ذكر الله, وما والاه أو عالما أو متعلما]
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه says: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say: The world is cursed, and everything in the world is cursed except the remembrance of Allah Almighty, and except the one whom Allah loves, and except the scholar and the seeker of knowledge.

Allah Almighty protects those who befriend Him from sins.
Allah Almighty accepts the prayers of those who love Him.
❀ [عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إن الله قال: من عادى لي وليا فقد آذنته بالحرب، وما تقرب إلي عبدي بشيء أحب إلي مما افترضت عليه، وما يزال عبدي يتقرب إلي بالنوافل حتى أحبه، فإذا أحببته كنت سمعه الذي يسمع به، وبصره الذي يبصر به، ويده التي يبطش بها، ورجله التي يمشي بها، وإن سألني لأعطينه، ولئن استعاذني لأعيذنه]
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه says that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Allah Almighty says, "Whoever shows enmity to My friend, I declare war against him. My servant draws near to Me through the supererogatory acts of worship so much that I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. When he asks Me, I give him, and when he seeks refuge with Me, I grant him refuge."

Those who love Allah, Allah and all the angels in the heavens love them, and among the people on earth, they are also made beloved to every heart.
❀ [عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن الله إذا أحب عبدا دعا جبريل، فقال: إني أحب فلانا فأحبه، قال: فيحبه جبريل، ثم ينادي في السماء، فيقول: إن الله يحب فلانا فأحبوه فيحبه أهل السماء، قال: ثم يوضع له القبول في الأرض]
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه says that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: When Allah loves a servant, He calls Jibra'il عليه السلام and says, "I love so-and-so, so love him too." Consequently, Jibra'il عليه السلام also begins to love him and announces in the heavens that Allah loves so-and-so, so you also love him. Thus, all the inhabitants of the heavens begin to love him. Then acceptance is granted to him on earth.

Love for Allah elevates a believer to the rank of perfect faith.
❀ [عن أبي أمامة، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، أنه قال: من أحب لله وأبغض لله وأعطى لله ومنع لله، فقد استكمل الإيمان]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Imamah رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, gets angry for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah, has completed his faith.

❀ [عن ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لأبي ذر: أي عرى الإيمان أظنه قال: أوثق؟ قال: الله ورسوله أعلم، قال: الموالاة في الله، والمعاداة في الله، والحب في الله، والبغض في الله]
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas رضي الله عنهما says the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: The strongest link of faith is to befriend for the sake of Allah, to be hostile for the sake of Allah, to love for the sake of Allah, and to be angry for the sake of Allah.

Love for Allah alone brings sweetness to a believer’s faith.
❀ [عن أنس، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: ثلاث من كن فيه وجد بهن حلاوة الإيمان، من كان الله ورسوله أحب إليه مما سواهما، وأن يحب المرء لا يحبه إلا لله، وأن يكره أن يعود في الكفر بعد أن أنقذه الله منه، كما يكره أن يقذف في النار]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: There are three things, whoever possesses them will taste the true sweetness of faith because of them. [1] To love Allah and His Messenger more than anything else in the world. [2] To love another person solely for the sake of Allah. [3] To hate returning to the disbelief from which Allah has saved him as much as one hates to be thrown into the fire.

One who loves for the sake of Allah should be given this prayer: (May Allah love you).
❀ [عن أنس بن مالك، أن رجلا كان عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فمر به رجل، فقال: يا رسول الله، إني لأحب هذا, فقال له النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: أعلمته؟ قال: لا, قال: أعلمه, قال: فلحقه، فقال: إني أحبك في الله, فقال: أحبك الذي أحببتني له]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the presence of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). At that moment, another man passed by, and the first man said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! I love this man. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him: Have you informed him? He replied: No! The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Inform him. So the man went after him and told him: I love you for the sake of Allah. In response, he prayed for him: May the One for whose sake you loved me love you as well.
