Sayyiduna Abu Musa Abdullah bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) on a journey, and he said: "O Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I not inform you of one of the treasures of Paradise?" I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah! (Please do)." He (peace be upon him) said: "Say: 'Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh.'"
[Sahih Bukhari: 6384, Sahih Muslim: 2704]
Sayyiduna Qais bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about one of the doors of Paradise?" I said: "Yes!" He (peace be upon him) said: "It is 'Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh.'"
[Sunan al-Tirmidhi: 3581, 'Amal al-Yawm wal-Laylah by al-Nasa'i: 355, its chain is Hasan]
Sayyiduna Hazim bin Harmalah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I passed by the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he said to me: "O Hazim! Make frequent mention of 'Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh,' for it is one of the treasures of Paradise."
[Sunan Ibn Majah: 3826, Hasan]
Benefits:
In the aforementioned Hadiths, 'Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh' is referred to as a treasure of Paradise because it holds very precious and valuable meanings. These words express the supremacy of Allah and the helplessness and weakness of a person. It signifies that if a person avoids any sin or performs any good deed, it is solely due to Allah's divine assistance. Additionally, there is strong encouragement to recite these words frequently.
