The Virtue of "Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh"

Sayyiduna Abu Musa Abdullah bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) on a journey, and he said: "O Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I not inform you of one of the treasures of Paradise?" I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah! (Please do)." He (peace be upon him) said: "Say: 'Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh.'"

Sayyiduna Qais bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about one of the doors of Paradise?" I said: "Yes!" He (peace be upon him) said: "It is 'Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh.'"

Sayyiduna Hazim bin Harmalah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I passed by the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he said to me: "O Hazim! Make frequent mention of 'Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh,' for it is one of the treasures of Paradise."

Benefits:

In the aforementioned Hadiths, 'Lā Ḥawla wa Lā Quwwata illā Billāh' is referred to as a treasure of Paradise because it holds very precious and valuable meanings. These words express the supremacy of Allah and the helplessness and weakness of a person. It signifies that if a person avoids any sin or performs any good deed, it is solely due to Allah's divine assistance. Additionally, there is strong encouragement to recite these words frequently.
