The Virtue of the One Who Defends the Honor of His Muslim Brother
✿ Hadith ①:
«عن أبي الدرداء، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من ردّ عن عرض أخيه، ردّ الله عن وجهه النار يوم القيامة".»
[Hasan: Narrated by Ahmad 27536 and Al-Tirmidhi 1931]
Narrated by Abu al-Darda (رضي الله عنه): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
"Whoever defends the honor of his brother, Allah will turn the fire away from his face on the Day of Resurrection."

«عن أسماء بنت يزيد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من ذبّ عن لحم أخيه بالغيبة كان حقّاً على الله أن يعتقه من النار".»
[Hasan: Narrated by Abdullah bin al-Mubarak in Al-Zuhd 687, through him by Ahmad 27609, and Al-Tabarani in Al-Kabir 176/24]
Narrated by Asma bint Yazid (رضي الله عنها): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
"Whoever prevents others from consuming the flesh of his brother through backbiting, it is a duty upon Allah to free him from the Hellfire."
