Allah Almighty says:
"So whatever you have been given is but the enjoyment of worldly life, and what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who have believed and rely upon their Lord, and avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive."

He further said:
"Obey Allah and His Messenger so that you may be shown mercy. And hasten to the forgiveness of your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous, who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good."

In these noble verses, Allah Almighty mentions those distinguished servants who will be deserving of Paradise and Allah’s pleasure. Among these chosen servants are those who control their anger. It is not right to get angry over small trivial matters or at every little thing. Yes! Where the matter concerns Shariah, religion, etc., where divine prohibitions are violated, there it is praiseworthy to get angry.
