This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, which has been translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Uthman رضي الله عنه narrates, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say:
من بنى مسجدا يبتغي به وجه الله، بنى الله له بيتا فى الجنة
"Whoever builds a mosque for the pleasure of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."

② Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه narrates that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من بنى لله مسجدا صغيرا كان أو كبيرا، بنى الله له بيتا فى الجنة
"Whoever builds a small or large mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Prayer, Chapter on the Virtue of Building Mosques, Hadith 319. This hadith is weak. In its chain is ‘Abdur Rahman Mawla Qais, who is unknown. See the commentary of Allama Sheikh Ahmad Muhammad Shakir Husayni رحمه الله on Sunan Tirmidhi, 2/135.
③ Sayyiduna Amr bin Absa رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من بنى مسجدا ليذكر الله فيه، بنى الله له بيتا فى الجنة
"Whoever builds a mosque so that the remembrance of Allah is established therein, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
إذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فليركع ركعتين قبل أن يجلس
"When any one of you enters the mosque, he should pray two rak'ahs before sitting down."

② It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah رضي الله عنه that he said, I reached the mosque while the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was present among the people. He said, I also sat down. Then the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
ما منعك أن تركع ركعتين قبل أن تجلس؟
"Who has forbidden you from praying two rak'ahs before sitting?"
He said, I said, O Messenger of Allah! I saw you and the people sitting (so I also sat). The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
فإذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فلا يجلس حتى يركع ركعتين
"When any one of you enters the mosque, he should pray two rak'ahs before sitting down."
