This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"When a Muslim or a believer washes his face during ablution, every fault that he has committed by looking with his two eyes goes out with the water or the last drop of water from his face. And when he washes his hands, every fault that his hands have committed by holding goes out with the water or the last drop of water. And when he washes his feet, every fault that his feet have committed by walking goes out with the water or the last drop of water, until he (the believer) becomes free from sins."

"Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then says: I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, He is One, He has no partner, and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and Messenger. O Allah! Include me among those who repent and those who purify themselves.
For him, the eight gates of Paradise are opened, and he may enter through whichever he wishes."
