Obey whatever the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commands and refrain from whatever he forbids.
And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatever he forbids you, abstain from it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
Reference: (Surah Al-Hashr:7)
Do not go beyond the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) by doing things he did not do during his pure life on your own accord.
O you who have believed, do not go ahead of Allah and His Messenger. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

Make efforts to revive the abandoned Sunnahs of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Sayyiduna Kathir bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Awf Mazni says that my father narrated to me from my grandfather that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: Whoever revives one of my Sunnahs and people act upon it, the one who revived the Sunnah will receive the same reward as all those who acted upon it, without any decrease in their rewards.

Disapproval should be shown towards what the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, expressed disapproval of.
Sayyiduna Abu Burda bin Abu Musa (Ash'ari) رضي الله عنه says that Abu Musa رضي الله عنه suffered severe pain which caused him to lose consciousness. His head was in the lap of a woman from his family. The woman started screaming. Sayyiduna Abu Musa رضي الله عنه (due to unconsciousness) could not stop her. When he regained consciousness, he said: Whatever the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم dislikes, I also dislike. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم has expressed dislike for a woman who screams, pulls hair, and tears clothes.

Support the Prophet
(The wealth) is for those poor emigrants who have been expelled from their homes and properties, always seeking Allah’s grace and His pleasure. They support Allah and His Messenger; these are the truthful (believers).

Explanation:
The support of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) means acquiring knowledge of the Shariah brought by him (peace be upon him), acting upon it, spreading it, and striving to make it prevail.
The respect and honor of the Prophet (peace be upon him) should be held sincerely and wholeheartedly.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه says that when this verse was revealed, "O you who have believed! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet ﷺ."
Reference: (Surah Al-Hujurat:2)
Sayyiduna Thabit bin Qais رضي الله عنه sat at home (Sayyiduna Thabit رضي الله عنه naturally had a loud voice) and said, "I am among the people of the fire." He then stopped meeting the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ asked Sayyiduna Saad bin Muadh Where is Thabit? Is he ill?" Sayyiduna Saad رضي الله عنه replied, "He is my neighbor and as far as I know, he is not ill." So Sayyiduna Saad رضي الله عنه went to Sayyiduna Thabit رضي الله عنه’s house and mentioned the conversation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Sayyiduna Thabit رضي الله عنه said, "Such and such verse has been revealed, and you know that my voice is louder than all of you in comparison to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I have become a denizen of Hell." Sayyiduna Saad رضي الله عنه reported this back to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "No, he is among the people of Paradise."

The life and virtues of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) should be narrated, poetry in praise of him should be recited, and every kind of misleading propaganda against him should be answered.
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say to Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that as long as you respond to the disbelievers on behalf of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), Allah Almighty will continue to assist you through the Holy Spirit (i.e., Jibreel Al-Amin, peace be upon him). Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) also says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say that Hassan comforted the hearts of the believers by responding to the satire of the disbelievers and destroyed the honor of the disbelievers. Some couplets of Sayyidna Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) are as follows:
① When the disbelievers satirized Muhammad (peace be upon him), I responded to it, and the recompense is with Allah.
② The disbelievers spoke ill of the righteous and pious Muhammad ﷺ, who is the Messenger of Allah; loyalty is his nature.
③ My parents, my honor, and everything I have is sacrificed to protect the honor and dignity of Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ.
④ Allah Almighty says: I have sent a servant who speaks the truth, and there is no doubt in his words.
⑤ Allah Almighty says: I have prepared an army, the army of the Ansar, whose task is to confront the disbelievers.
⑥ Among the deaf, whoever insults the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, praises him, and helps him, all are equal.
⑦ Between us and the Messenger of Allah are Jibril, and Jibril has no equal.

The honor and dignity of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ must be protected.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas رضي الله عنهما that a blind companion had a slave girl who used to insult the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and mock him. The companion would forbid her, but she would not stop; he would scold her, but she still would not desist. One night, the slave girl insulted and mocked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم again, so the companion stabbed her in the stomach with a knife and pressed hard, killing her. When morning came, the incident was mentioned before the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, who gathered the people and said: Whoever has done this, I swear by Allah and by the right I have over him, let him stand up. The blind companion stood up, pushing through the crowd, and sat before the Prophet Muhammad The man was trembling and said: O Messenger of Allah I am the killer. She used to insult you and mock you. I forbade her, but she did not stop; I scolded her, but she still did not desist, even though she bore me two beautiful sons like pearls and was my good companion. But last night, when she insulted and mocked you, I took a knife, stabbed her in the stomach, and pressed hard until I killed her. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: People, listen! Be witnesses that the blood of this slave girl is wasted. (Meaning, her Qisas will not be taken.)

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: After me, there will arise among my Ummah some people who will love me so intensely that one of them will wish to give away all his family, wealth, and possessions in charity just to visit me.

Upon hearing the blessed name of the Prophet, peace be upon him, send blessings (Salawat) upon him.
